Skin Care

Do you ever think about the ingredients in your beauty products? What you put on your body🧖🏽‍♀️ is just as important as what you put in 😋 your body. Many times we tend to focus on ourselves internally, such as what we eat and tend to ignore what we put on our bodies, our skin. 🧖🏽‍♂️

Did you know your skin is your largest organ? 🤔 It's kind of weird to think of our skin as an actual body part. Our skin is strong 💪🏽, it protects our internal body parts. We forget that our skin in itself needs care and nutrients to stay healthy. 💆🏽‍♀️💆🏾‍♂️This is why the awareness of what goes on your skin is vital to your skin care. Knowing exactly where and what is in your beauty products is the key. Are your products full of ingredients you can't pronounce or seem to be all chemicals?

As they say, knowldege us powerful! Do you know what you are putting on your skin when you use mainstream name brand soap 🧼 and lotions? 🧐 We did a search on a well known mainstream name brand's ingredients and they are: Sodium Lauroyl Isethionate, Stearic Acid, Lauric Acid, Sodium Tallowate or Sodium Palmitate, Water (Aqua), Sodium Isethionate, Sodium Stearate, Cocoamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Cocoate or Sodium Palm Kernelate, Glycerin, Sodium Chloride, Tetrasodium Etidronate, Tetrasodium EDTA, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891). 🥴 Do you know the origin of all these ingredients?

It get's real when you start researching your beauty product's ingredients. 🧐 We did a second search on a mainstream lotion's ingredients and they are: Water, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Petrolatum, Stearic Acid, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate, Dimethicone, Laureth-3, Ceteareth-20, DMDM Hydantoin, Allantoin, Methylparaben, Arginine, Sodium Hydroxide, Propylparaben, Carbomer, Fragrance, Panthenol, Pentylene Glycol, Lecithin, Alcohol, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Tocopherol. 🥴
