Skin Care

Do you ever think about the ingredients in your beauty products? What you put on your body🧖🏽‍♀️ is just as important as what you put in 😋 your body. Often, we tend to focus on ourselves internally, such as what we eat, and tend to ignore what we put on our bodies, our skin. 🧖🏽‍♂️

Did you know your skin is your largest organ? 🤔 It's kind of weird to think of our skin as an essential body part. Our skin is healthy. It protects our internal body parts. We forget that our skin in itself needs care and nutrients to stay healthy. 💆🏽‍♀️💆🏾‍♂️ This is why the awareness of what goes on your skin is vital to your skincare. Knowing exactly where and what is in your beauty products is the key. Are your products full of ingredients you can't pronounce or seem to be all chemicals?

As they say, knowledge is power! Do you know what you are putting on your skin when you use mainstream name brand soap 🧼 and lotions? 🧐 We did a search on a well-known mainstream name brand's ingredients. They are Sodium Lauroyl Isethionate, Stearic Acid, Lauric Acid, Sodium Tallowate or Sodium Palmitate, Water (Aqua), Sodium Isethionate, Sodium Stearate, Cocoamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Cocoate or Sodium Palm Kernelate, Glycerin, Sodium Chloride, Tetrasodium Etidronate, Tetrasodium EDTA, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891). 🥴

Do you know the origin of all these ingredients?

It gets real when you start researching your beauty product's ingredients. 🧐 We did a second search on a mainstream lotion's elements. They are Water, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Petrolatum, Stearic Acid, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate, Dimethicone, Laureth-3, Ceteareth-20, DMDM Hydantoin, Allantoin, Methylparaben, Arginine, Sodium Hydroxide, Propylparaben, Carbomer, Fragrance, Panthenol, Pentylene Glycol, Lecithin, Alcohol, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Tocopherol. 🥴

Now, let's compare the ingredients in all of our QREMA Soap and Body Balm products. 🧼 QREMA Soaps contain Palm Oil, Olive Oil, Coconut Oil 🥥, Mica coloring mixed in Almond Oil, and Essential Oils for fragrance. QREMA Facial Soaps has Shea Butter, Coconut Oil 🥥, Mineral Oils (tree nut oils, those who have allergies), and Mica coloring mixed in Almond Oil.
