The first two are a double cleanse, which is one job split in two, not two competing cleansers. The last two are layered thinnest to richest, which is the order that lets each one absorb.

No. The Sérum and the Qrema work as a pair on their own, and that is the most common place to start.

The four together are the full ritual, and they are designed as a sequence rather than a set of options. But nobody should be talked into a fourth bottle before they know the first two agree with them.

Night. The whole ritual is built for it, and that is a deliberate choice rather than a technical restriction.

Worth knowing: bakuchiol is photostable, which means it does not make your skin more sensitive to sun the way retinol does. So a morning application is not a problem chemically. We just built this for the end of the day.

Give it about six weeks.

Whether your skin tolerates something shows up in the first week or two. Whether it is doing anything takes considerably longer, because you are waiting on skin cell turnover, not a surface effect.

Anyone promising you a visible change in seven days is selling you a different kind of product.

Usually, yes. Bakuchiol does not carry the same layering restrictions retinol does.

The thing to watch is stacking strong actives. If you are already using prescription retinoids, high-strength acids, or benzoyl peroxide, introduce this slowly and on alternate nights rather than all at once, and speak to your dermatologist if you are unsure.

Bakuchiol, pronounced bah-KOO-chee-ol, comes from the seeds of Psoralea corylifolia, the babchi plant, used for centuries in Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese medicine.

It is not a retinoid and shares no chemical structure with vitamin A. Gene expression studies show it guides skin cell behavior along pathways similar to retinol, increasing collagen production and suppressing MMP, the enzyme that breaks collagen down.

So: similar destination, different route. It is in the Lumina Sérum.

Bidens pilosa, called romerillo or margarita silvestre in Puerto Rico, where it grows on roadsides and gets pulled as a weed.

It contains phytanic acid, which reaches the same receptor sites retinol activates. Different key, same lock. It has been noted as suitable for melanin-rich, sensitive and post-inflammatory skin.

It is in the Lumina Qrema.

For a lot of people, yes. Bakuchiol is generally better tolerated than retinol, which is the reason it exists as a category.

But we are not going to tell you it cannot irritate anyone, because that is not a promise any skincare brand can honestly make. Skin is individual. Patch test on a small area and wait 24 hours before you commit to your face.

If retinol did not work for you, that was not a discipline failure. That was chemistry. This is a different chemistry, and it is worth trying, carefully.

Yes, and we list them rather than bury them. These are naturally occurring components of the essential oils that give each product its scent, and EU cosmetic regulation requires them to be declared.

The lists differ product to product, so if you have a known sensitivity, check the specific one rather than assuming they match. Full ingredient lists are published on every product page and printed on every bottle.

Yes. All four products are vegan, gluten free and nut free.

People often come to plant actives specifically because they are avoiding retinol during pregnancy, and we understand why. But we are not qualified to clear any product for your pregnancy, and a brand that tells you otherwise is overstepping.

There are two levels, Organic and Natural, and our products do not all sit at the same one. Here is exactly where each lands:

• Seda is COSMOS Organic. 99% natural origin, 15% organic origin.
• Lumina Sérum is COSMOS Organic. 99% natural origin, 61% organic origin.
• Lumina Qrema is COSMOS Natural. 99% natural origin, 23% organic origin.

Three of the four are Organic, which is the higher bar. The Qrema is Natural. We could describe the whole line as "certified organic" and almost nobody would check. We would rather you know which is which.

The Lumina Sérum is nineteen ingredients: bakuchiol, six cold-pressed seed oils, and the rest, every one of them printed on the label.

Short enough to print in full on the label, which is the point. If you have to expand a section to read what is in something, that is a decision the brand made about you.

No. Not the finished products, not the ingredients, not through a third party.

It is also not a promise we could quietly walk back. COSMOS certification prohibits animal testing outright, and Ecocert audits that. If it stopped being true, we would lose the certification.

Timing comes in two parts. Preparation takes about two working days, because your order is made up after you place it rather than pulled off a shelf. Transit is then two to five working days.

Most orders arrive within four to seven working days.

Send it back within 30 days for a refund, even opened, as long as most of the bottle is left. Return postage is yours and original shipping is not refunded.

Thirty days is enough to know whether your skin tolerates something. It is not enough to know whether it is working, which is a separate question and takes about six weeks.

Email info@qrema.shop within one month of delivery, or one month of the estimated delivery date if it never came. Include your order number and, for damage, clear photos of the product and the shipping box. We replace it or refund it.

Email info@qrema.shop right away and we will do what we can. Once an order enters preparation it usually cannot be changed, which happens quickly.

This is also why the shipping address is worth checking before you confirm. A package sent to a wrong address is not covered by the damaged or lost policy.
