Four steps. Ten minutes.
Behind a closed door.
The door closes and the noise stops. The same four steps, in the same order, every night. Ten minutes that belong to you, and you start feeling like yourself again.

in the same order.
Four steps that go one after another, the same way every night, so your hands stop having to think about it. Start with two if you'd rather. The order doesn't change.

Flor de Tila
The day comes off first. Makeup, sunscreen, and everything the day put on you, lifted before anything else happens.

Seda
The second pass. This is the one that actually cleanses, and it finishes without leaving your skin tight.
See Seda →
Lumina Sérum
Bakuchiol, pressed in while your skin is still damp. This is where the treatment starts.

Lumina Qrema
Romerillo last, sealing everything underneath it. Then the ten minutes are over, and the door can stay closed a while longer.
See Lumina Qrema →Four steps sounds like a lot
until you see what each pair is actually for.
It isn't four products doing four versions of the same job. It's two pairs, and each pair has one purpose. Two to take the day off. Two to treat what's underneath.
Taking the day off, twice
Flor de Tila handles what water cannot: makeup, sunscreen, the film the day leaves behind. Seda then cleanses the skin itself. One cleanser doing both jobs has to be harsh enough for the first, which is more than the second ever needed. Two passes means neither one has to overreach.
Treating, then keeping it there
Lumina Sérum brings bakuchiol. Lumina Qrema brings romerillo and closes over it. Different plants, different mechanisms, layered in this order because the serum needs to reach skin before anything seals it in. Reversed, the second step blocks the first.
Four steps, and the whole thing still takes ten minutes. Long enough to feel like something. Short enough that you will actually do it tomorrow, and the night after that.

Four products.
Ten minutes.
One thing to be good at.
Plant-based skincare made for the end of the day, when the house is quiet and the only person left to take care of is you.
I wasn't looking for skincare.
I was looking for ten minutes.
I am Vero. What I wanted was a small piece of the night that belonged to me. The same thing, in the same order, behind a closed door. Not another routine to keep up with. Something closer to a ritual.
I tried retinol first, and it worked. Almost too well, close to an overnight lift, and I remember thinking that was a lot happening to my face very quickly. Then I stopped, and my face felt droopier than when I started. My skin had most likely just gone back to where it began. But you don't compare your face to how it looked before. You compare it to how it looked on retinol. Those results were rented.
So I looked for plant-based brands instead. I found good ones. What I could not find was a reliable one. Orders that came late. A product I had built my nights around, discontinued without warning, because the brand was small and could not keep it going.
That is when it got clear for me. You cannot build a ritual on something that might not be there. A ritual only works if it repeats. Take the repetition away and it was just a nice night you had once.
I also wanted it to be plants, and not only because plants are gentler. I come from a place where these plants were medicine long before anyone put them in a bottle. Building this with anything else would have felt like borrowing someone else's answer to my own question.
So I built it. Four steps, not nine. Two plant actives instead of the strongest molecule on the shelf. Ingredient lists short enough to read all the way through. And a supply chain steady enough that when you reach for it in three months, it is still here.
The four bottles are not the point. They are what makes the ten minutes repeat. That is the point.
Two plants.
One ritual.
Two different molecules, two different mechanisms, layered one after the other. One does its work in the Sérum. The other seals it in the Qrema.
Pronounced bah-KOO-chee-ol. It comes from the seeds of the babchi plant, used for centuries in Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese medicine long before the skincare industry noticed it.
It is not a retinoid and shares no chemical structure with vitamin A. Gene expression studies show it guides skin cell behavior along pathways similar to retinol, increasing collagen production and suppressing MMP, the enzyme that breaks collagen down.
It is photostable, which means it does not make your skin more sensitive to sun.
It grows on roadsides and in fields across Puerto Rico, where it is called romerillo, or margarita silvestre. Nobody plants it. Most people pull it.
It contains phytanic acid, which reaches the same receptor sites retinol activates. Different key, same lock.
It has been noted as suitable for melanin-rich, sensitive and post-inflammatory skin.
The active in the night cream is a plant from home that nobody thought was worth anything.
Retinol works.
Just not for everyone.
You have heard of it. Maybe you have tried it. Maybe your skin pushed back, and somewhere in there you quietly decided the problem was you.
It wasn't. Some skin just doesn't agree with retinol, and no amount of discipline changes that.
Retinol is a strong molecule, and some skin does not tolerate it no matter how carefully it is introduced. So we went looking for a different way to reach the same place, and we found it in plants that reach the same receptors by a different route.
Every product here carries COSMOS certification. The ingredient lists are short enough to print in full, and we do. We would rather show you the whole list than ask you to trust a summary of it.
Ten minutes at night,
and the door is closed.
By the time the house is quiet, you have already spent the whole day being needed. Qrema is the ten minutes after that. Not a routine to keep up with, not another thing to be good at. Ten minutes where nobody needs anything from you.
That is the whole idea. The plants and the certifications and the ingredient lists all exist to make those ten minutes worth showing up for, night after night, until your hands know the order without you thinking about it.
